YOU ASKED FOR IT!

SO HERE IT IS…

I had a blast walking around for a couple of hours on a beautiful day here in the city. But I have to say… this was a pretty tough order to fill. It was much harder than getting strangers to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to me at my birthday parade. (CLICK HERE to see that stunning piece of footage!)

I went out by myself and approached strangers with this story:

I keep a blog, and I’m making a little movie to put up there. People who read it regularly wrote to me and told me what to get strangers to say to the camera. On these cards are their requests. Would you please read one of them for the camera?

Try saying all that to a person who is walking at breakneck speed down a city street!

I have to tell you, NO ONE was rude. NOT A SINGLE PERSON was nasty or unkind. Most people agreed to read the cue cards I had handwritten. (My printer ran out of ink this morning!) I even had one guy who asks to read TWO cards… so I gave him the ones I knew I’d have trouble finding a volunteer for…the silliest statements… AND YOU ASKED FOR IT…
