FIRST OFF… I’d like to thank all of you for your AMAZING comments on my LAST FILM EXTRAVAGANZA. Welcome to all of my new Blog Buddies. Can’t wait to catch up on all the amazing blogs out there.

There is one thing I’d like to clear up. Several of you asked me what the music in the film was. I’m so happy to tell you… THE MUSIC THAT I USED IN THE MOVIE WAS MINE!!! I have radio mixes of many of the songs from my last CD. This means that the vocals were taken out and the songs could then be used as sound tracks. Or I can entertain without a full band. The song in the last movie was my tune, SUNSHINE, which I talked about in a previous post. CLICK HERE to read that post and hear the song in its entirety. HEY, IF YOU LIKE IT… BUY IT!!!!

Last night I channeled Stephane Grappelli, my idol. If you don’t know who I’m talking about, CLICK HERE.

I sat in with my good friends, Uncle Moon at a tiny club in Brooklyn called Barbes. These guys are totally original and play everything from jazz swing to original Appalachian pop! It was great getting to stretch out on Grappelli-esque solos.

BUT TOMORROW… I’m STRETCHING OUT ON THE NATIONAL ANTHEM!!!
I’ve been asked to play the Anthem to kick off the big New York City MS Walk. This is the uppteenth time I’ve played the Anthem for MS, and I’m so glad I can do this as my small part for a really worthy cause.

Every year, I get up there on that stage and see all those faces in front of me of people getting psyched up to walk for the cause. It is truly a moving experience, and I feel really lucky that the organizers keep asking me to do this.

If you are able to sponsor someone for the MS WALK in your area, DO IT NOW!!! And if not, just donate money. It’s a really worthwhile cause, and THERE IS HOPE FOR A CURE… BUT ONLY WITH YOUR HELP!
