And A Good Time Was Had By All

Thanks to all of you for your wonderfully kind birthday messages. What a great bunch of people you are! Aw…but you knew that…

I woke up this morning a bit confused. This weekend was a HUGE success… I THINK! Last night, after my two shows, (which went GREAT by the way), a group of my best friends surprised me at my apartment for a pre-birthday celebration.

Last Guy & I felt like this was an appropriate time to pull out the new tequila shot glasses that we had purchased in Mexico last month… along with my prize bottle of tequila. (I almost missed the plane in Mexico City because I HAD to have that special bottle to go with those shot glasses!)

After a couple of shots, we strolled over to a Mexican restaurant where six of us proceeded to drink several pitchers of frozen margaritas. Needless to say, the rest of the evening is a bit of a blur! I remember laughing until it hurt. And I THINK the food was really good!

All I know is that this morning, when I woke up, I tripped over my black knee-high leather boots with three-inch heels… fishnet stockings still attached. I stumbled into the kitchen and saw the empty tequila glasses, an empty bottle of red wine, a post-it note on the kitchen counter that said, “I AM A BLITHERING IDIOT”, and a gift card for a trip to Egypt!

SO… Because this was the day of my big parade, I took all of the necessary measures to get rid of my “cloudiness”, and went off to enjoy my actual birthday. I took some video footage of some of the wacky folks who joined us today for my BIG DAY!
