Live What You Love, Love What You Do!

Sometimes when you're in the arts, you have to make some pretty tough decisions. The toughest one I've ever had to make was to take myself out of the touring circuit, and get back into the studio to record another record. After having spent the past couple of years staying at the FOUR SEASONS, it's back to the MOTEL 6 for me! Where the soap is crappy and the towels are scratchy! But hopefully not for long...

Don't get me wrong here. It's pretty exciting playing with a famous person. Big arenas, tour buses, fancy dinners... All of the stuff most people only get to read about. Last year I got to travel to Japan, Australia, and we even played a concert on the Great Wall of China! Pretty amazing stuff! BUT IT'S JUST NOT THE SAME THRILL AS WHEN I GET TO PLAY MY VERY OWN MUSIC. Some people might call me insane at this point to turn away from the money and go for the dream. Well, I guess I'd rather "go for it" on my own terms than to spend my life living in the reflection of someone else's star! I JUST CAN'T PUT THAT DAMN DREAM TO REST!

We had Chinese food delivered in tonight.
Unbelievable! Maybe it's a sign?
Here's my fortune direct from the cookie itself...

Here's my honey's fortune. We're really not sure what this one means. It's a pretty deep thought to be coming out of cookie if you ask me! If anyone can figure it out for us, please do!
